Redefining Inventory and Trading Experience in the Wine and Liquor Management

A case study in digitizing member engagement, streamlining inventory, and enabling new community trading experiences.

Digitizing Wine Inventory &
Member Trading for 1855 Wine Merchant

1855 Wine Merchant needed to modernize how members accessed and managed their private wine collections. With over 2,700 SKUs and no centralized digital platform, members depended on staff for updates — resulting in delays, manual errors, and operational bottlenecks.

GLN collaborated with 1855 to design and launch my1855, a custom mobile-first platform that empowers members to track their inventory in real-time, place delivery requests, and initiate in-app bottle trades — reshaping the wine storage experience into a seamless, digital journey.
